To connect PayPal with your store, youâll need your PayPal Business API credentials. Here's how to get them in just a few steps:
API credentials are only available for Business accounts.
If you donât have one yet:
Go to the PayPal signup page: https://www.paypal.com/signup
Choose Business Account and follow the registration steps.
Visit: https://developer.paypal.com
Click Log In, and use your PayPal Business credentials.
Once logged in:
Go to the Dashboard
In the left menu, click My Apps & Credentials
Choose the environment:
Sandbox for testing
Live for production use
Click Create App under the desired section
Name your app and assign it to a sandbox account if needed
Click Create App to confirm
After creating the app, youâll be redirected to its details page.
Here, youâll find:
Client ID â a unique identifier for your app
Client Secret â a secure key used for authentication
â ïž Both are required to use PayPalâs APIs securely.
Enter your Client ID and Client Secret into the Payment Settings of your Storely dashboard
Make sure to store them securely, preferably using environment variables, to prevent unauthorized access
